R signals are big motherfuckers.
R signals are frequencies invented by engineers of the R Organization for their miniverses in order to lead their “agents” inside to their objectives. Jack recieves an R signal because he starts to hallucinate in a dream sequence about Ainhander while awake and listening to Blood Brothers from Iron Maiden. And R signals are mean fuckers.
R signals work to inhibit the agent’s brain in order to achieve something by R Organization’s standards. And these will do their best to let the agents work for a tyrant who proclaims genocide and an holocaust worldwide as the Arrival of Freedom.
So, if you would want to feel an R signal for curiosity, you REALLY won’t like it.
